San Luis Beach

A great dive for divers of all ages and experience levels. Entry and exit are quite easy here, however, the bottom step can be pretty slick. Brace yourself on the rocks next to the stairs as you enter or exit the water.

Several concrete buckets at approximately 20 feet can be used to tie off the float. There is a large bubble-tip anemone and clownfish tucked into coral head toward the north.

Keep an eye out for turtles, moral eel, nudibranches, plenty of reef fish, and the occasional octopus. Map pufferfish, barracuda, and even spotted-eagle rays have also been seen here.

Proof of certification is required for all beaches on base, so please remember to have your certification card with you in the event the police ask to see it.
